Meet Kolbeinn!I am a majestic Icelandic horse. I was flown from Iceland to JFK in the summer of 2020. I was picked to come to Lambs Hill because of my kind and gentle nature and my talent under saddle. I love to ride tolt on the trails with my owner and sometimes we even compete. During wedding season, I sometimes get taken out of my stall to show off how handsome I am and get photos taken with the bride and groom. I will let you know when it is snack time by smiling at you. |

Meet Goi!I am a proud Icelandic horse. I was brought to the USA from Iceland in the same airplane with Kolbeinn. I have a beautiful dapple grey coat that will turn whiter with each year that passes. I love carrots and apples, well, let's be real, I love pretty much any treats. I will greet you as you come and go past my stall. I have a very talented gait with high stepping movements and if you watch me trot in the ring you can see how I prance with pride. I am also used for photos for our weddings or photoshoots when a fairytale like steed is called for. |

Meet Amberjack (aka AJ)I am a mini donkey and the mother of Porgy. I am very patient and kind. I often fill my checks with my dinner and hold it for snacks for later. My back is a bit saggy and my belly a bit full but I move around just fine. In fact, I'm quite protective over those I love. When the new horses came, I had to protect my owners from such intruders before I was certain they were harmless. I came to Lambs Hill in 2007 with my six month old boy who at the time was still nursing. |

Meet Porgy!I am the rambunctious son of Amberjack. I love snuggles and to be brushed. I will often peek my eye over the stall door to convince you to give me a treat when passing by. I also know exactly when it is time to eat and I will remind anyone in earshot. Sometimes I feel frisky and run around the ring with stiff legs. I'm quite entertaining. My mother and I were honored to be the ring bearers in the very first wedding at Lambs Hill. We had special saddles that were made for us and the rings were stitched to our seats. However, I couldn't help myself as a six month year old youngster and during my big moment I got a litlle crazy and broke loose from my 6 year old ring bearer. Luckily, his uncle was on stand by and picked up my lead line and settled my nerves and we were back in order to deliver the rings. |
